Why can't some of you guys get over this can't justify $6K for a hardtop thing? Especially in my thread when I clearly stated money is a non-factor. I don't have to justify $6K or OEM + $1K pricing for a Mugen CF or fiberglass top.
OEM is good for the masses. It comes painted. It's made by Honda. Anyone can go out and get one very easily.
I want the Mugen top for the looks, brand name, and because I can do it and I want it.

They have been around for years and have great customer service.
I bought my Mugen Struts Tower bars from them on my Civics.

I had both hardtops as well. The OEM is a great hardtop for the price and both Mugen hardtops are more expensive than OEM.
One thing I want to make clear. Having had both the FRP and OEM tops, I can say without a doubt that the OEM is heavier than the FRP and CFRP (buddy has it) and the fitment is much better than OEM, sad but true. If you have the money go for the Mugen, if your on a budget go OEM. If you want a very clean look go OEM, if you want some flavor go Mugen, Dome, Sparco, etc..
I like both and IMO one is NOT better than the other..
