Default Mugen Hard Top ?

Does anyone have pics on the inside of their Mugen Hard top? I would like to see how it looks underneath before I purchase it.

Also how is the fitment of the hardtop? Does it actually rub against the paint on the rear, or is there cushions to prevent scratches?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

the hardtop comes in white gel coated FPR (unless you get the CF one).

So whatever you paint the inside of the hardtop, thats what the color is going to be.

you don't really need to paint the inside...it comes black...the outside is white.

I just painted the outside and left the inside as it was.

I don't think there are cushions..but it should not rub on the paint, but you need to be careful when opening the boot/trunk - as when fully opened it is close to the hardtop.

fitment is perfect as is with any mugen parts, and here's a pic of the underside. this was buffed out by the painter so this isn't how it'll come shipped.

it doesn't sit flush on the car. instead, it rests a little higher and the trunk issue can be taken care of by extending the rubber stoppers inside your trunk. if you look closely, you'll see the hard top is just a bit of clearance between the hardtop and the car.

install is easy and other than actually putting the hard top on the car to finish off the install, you can do it yourself in under an hour or two.

the inside comes black gel coated and the outside come in white primered.
my inside came with scratches and scuffs, outside also came with some minor scuffs. i have painted the inside and outside but you only need to paint the outside.

fitment is excellent
no rubbing in the rear, it was supply with gaskets and all hardware to mount the mugen hardtop. some hardware supplied is OEM honda parts too.

after mounting the hardtop on car, be carefull when opening the trunk too wide. clearance issue is not so good. trunks touches or hit the hardtop when open. BUT there is a simple solution, stick rubbers on the trunks hinge/arm to prevent opening the trunk too wide. the rubber give plenty of clearance depending the thickness of the rubber.

here is pics of the brand new mugen FRP hardtop...(most of my pics in my album were missing after the s2ki V4 , here is what's left)...
