Mugen exhaust vs Spoon N1?
i need some opinion on mugen exhaust vs spoon N1.
i know they are very different in price. mugen is dual and spoon is single.
but i am really interested in the weight saving and loudness level.
i am look for an exhaust system that has decent weight saving and the closer to stock loudness the better.
as long as it won't lose hp, i will be happy with it.
so, thoughts? user experience?
thanks~!

if you want a sound that is closer to stock i would say go with mugen. it's supposed to be a bit louder than stock...the spoon on the other hand is supposedly one of the loudest out there. i myself want the spoon...but i like the loud sound.

get the spoon n1 for weight saving and use the silencer and it will be very quiet...but people have reported substancial loss in power with the silencer...
the mugens are twin and look good and are not loud..but of course the weight savings wont be even close to a single tip system...

I would pick Mugen over Spoon for the awesome welding and look
but there is always Amuse dual R1
weight: 14lbs
sound: louder than Mugen, but definately not too loud
gain: 4-5hp
look: 100% full titanium and the infamous burnt tips
price: here comes the prob...

Out of the Spoon N1 and Mugen exhausts, you want one with "close to stock sound" and weight savings. The Spoon N1 is sounds nothing near stock, but saves more weight than the Mugen, while the Mugen sounds closer to stock, and weighs a bit more than the Spoon N1. Power gains for the two are probably equal. I run the Spoon N1, and I love the aggressive sound and weight savings, but I don't really like the looks. If you can justify spending the extra $700-800 on the Mugen, then go for that.

Xplosiv - Don't be sorry, I'd like to be informed of my mistakes. That's interesting. Do you have any rough numbers for a Spoon N1 w/ Spoon header (4-2-1) and AEM CAI?

S2Thizzle, I think KIDS2000 is running AEM CAI, Spoon header and HKS exhaust, while SpoonAP1/Shamu is running full Spoon set up...I dont know the exact number, but Spoon header and exhaust make a rough 15hp gain, and the Spoon exhaust sounds really good if you dont mind loud exhaust. AEM might be the only CAI that has dyno proved hp gain, and if you do decide to go with it, be careful not to suck in water during the rainy days.
