MSRP: Northern California dealerships
Anyone have suggestions of dealership (preferably in the San Francisco Bay Area) that I can contact and not be hassled with ridiculous MSRPs?
The best dealership I've found so far is selling S2000s at $1000 above MSRP.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm very anxious

Merced Honda is the only "Bay Area" Honda dealer that I know of that has publicly said they will not charge over MSRP. I got mine from Serramonte Honda for MSRP, but that was back in December and might have been a one-time deal.
I believe there are a few in the East Bay (Stockton?) that will do the deal with a bit of haggling, so do a search on Bay Area and MSRP and a bunch of old threads will pop up.

Merced and Stockton are both Central Valley.
As for East Bay, you definitely will not get an S2000 for MSRP at Dublin Honda. They have a good service department, though.

I just called a several dealers today..
-Steven's Creek has two 2002 Silver ones on their lot. $1k over MSRP is the public price.
-Honda of Oakland sells at $1k over MSRP as well. None on their lot
-Capitol has none but they're now selling at $1k over MSRP too.
-Los Gatos has none on their lot, but they're willing to negotiate and possibly beat $1k.
-Hayward Honda wants me to come down and talk pricing with them. They said they can get me a white one tomorrow if I was ready. (but i'm not). They have a Spa Yellow.
oh well, haven't contacted other dealers yet. I'll keep you guys updated if any dealers have any other S2000s on their lot.

Hey, SECRET AP1, I just bought a new S2K in the Bay Area two weeks ago.
Virtually all of the dealers around here, including every one you just mentioned, will sell at MSRP if you bargain hard and insist you won't pay a penny more.
I found you can only get that price by walking in the door, though. Calling will get you $1K above, but the dealers need to keep some wiggle room for the final negotiating.
I actually got mine at $500 below MSRP, but it took a week of heavy haggling and I'm not sure the dealer would do it again.
If you want contacts at specific preferred dealers, shoot me a private message and I'll let you know who I dealt with. I spent a month shopping for my S2K, and I feel like I know every Internet sales manager in the Bay Area.

paid $200 over msrp for my choice of color suzuka blue march 19 from oakland honda. they were pretty low pressure as well salesman was a nice guy frank reiger. the worst dealer was marin honda they were doing me a "favor", at 3k over msrp!
ps make sure it hasn't been test driven. mine had 8 miles on it.
