Our S2000 costs us less to insure than my wife's 2006 1/2 ton chevy. I was looking at a 07 civic Si or a 06 S2000 (new) and the costs to insure were within $10 of each other on monthly payments. Most S2000s don't seem to get driven enough to be that much of a risk. The 2005 that I bought had 8800 miles in the two years the previous owner had it. I hope he didn't pay much for insurance since it stayed parked most of the time

I believe I'm paying in the ballpark of $82 a month. Which isn't horrible. When you're 16, they'll really take you for all your worth on this car.

I'm 13 but they said they'll only charge me 12/month for liability for the first 3 years. Then they're shooting my insurance through the roof...Somewhere in the ballpark of 700/month!

I dont think its bad at all! I actually pay the same amount for my civic hybrid!

I pay 200mo now, for 22yr old with past tickets....3 cars, 2 full coverage, and the beater 86 civic
