The ladies buy them for their guys? Every S2k owner I've met is a guy. Further, my wife doesn't drive stick, so her only place in my car is the passenger seat. Which she enjoys.

I call BS, and once again, Forbes proves it knows nothing about cars.

 

I would say 90% of Corvette buyers are overweight middle-aged women, at least we arent in that category

 

I think it's because quite a few are "buying" for the guy so insurance is cheaper.

 

I was going to buy a mustang but tons of women own them. My wife kept calling the mustang a chick car.

I find this hard to believe if you go by the numbers of women versus men who show up at meets. But maybe things have changed. At my first big meet in Hagerstown, MD (Fall Colors 2003), out of 160 cars, only 11 of them were owned by women.

 

 

Fortunately my sex change operation and weight loss program have worked out well!
