Default More camber = less steering feel?

my steering use to feel stiff, i used to have 0.55, after i put 2.35 camber on the front the steering feels very light, not much feeling and feedback on turns.

is it becuase more camber? or is it something else?

hope you can let me know what i can do to keep the camber and have stiff and more feeling for steering. thank you!

Wait, you put -2.35 camber up FRONT? What's your caster set at?

-2.35 sounds incorrect. Do you have a camber kit? Im pretty sure you can only goto -2 unless you get an aftermarket kit.

Steering feel is related to caster angle, not camber. If your alignment tech managed to get that much camber up front, he no doubt compromised caster to get it as the maximum achievable settings for both are mutually exclusive. You have to reach a happy medium there and will have to give up some camber to return the "feel" you're missing.

It depends on the car/tech. I had no problems getting -2.25 up front.

The more camber you have (all else being the same), the more the car will tramline. In fact, you should have a more darty steering feel, as the car will want to follow every depression in the road instead of go straight.

The more caster you have, the more it will want to "self-center" when you let go of the wheel. It's caster that keeps a bicycle or motorcycle stable when moving.

JP is right that the caster and the camber are a tradeoff with the design of the S2000 suspension.

Toe also comes in to play.

Camber alone is not enough to tell how the steering will feel.

your riding on less of the tire then you were before, so unless you are making a really hard corner, the extra camber will only remove steering response
