Still no pictures of one of these on a street car?
With the Z4 Coupe and the Cayman S coming out (all over the magazines), now is the time to turn the S2000 into a fastback coupe.
....or just get a Lotus Exige.
Seriously, I was thinking of a Lotus Exige, but those cars have niggling issues and the dealer is 1.5 hrs. away. The $55k price tag still gets you only 189bhp (I know what the car weighs). Besides, I'm a Honda fan -- not Toyota. Lotus may offer a supercharger (could be $8000 installed) that will bring the car up to 240bhp.
Alternatively, get a $6400 hardtop + a $5000 supercharger and you'll run with an Exige all day with Honda reliability.
Used S2k + $12k in upgrades is still way cheaper than a $55k Lotus that you can't get in or out of.
Who's with me?
