Are you guys sure you want to go through all the trouble of removing the hatch just to open your trunk? And if they did make it in carbon fiber do you realize how expensive it would be? Probably in the ball park of 7,000 bucks.

You dont have to remove the Hatch to open the trunk.. It opens like a hatch .. Then you open the trunk So really no trouble at all just a second door basically... If you removed your Soft top then it would free up all that space for storage too!!

Looks like no removing is needed to get access to the trunk. See the seperation in the top? It looks like the top splits and opens with the trunk. It's a pretty neat design, imo.

you open the hatch first then the trunk.
i like the idea, but at the same time looks kinda goofy.
expect to pay crazy- stupid amount of money if it's available for sale.

Yikes, so that means there would also have to be some sort of pump or hydraulic that holds the hatch open while you open the trunk. Haha, you know, if they do sell this thing, they're gonna rape you guys.
I honestly think it still looks like a removable panel. I don't think they would bother adding hinges and a pump just for convenience (more weight). edit: on the race car, that is.
