$280 a month at 6.5%
I still think this is way to much for a car payment. I am used to under $200 month payments. This is the first car where I had to pay over $200 a month. If I were to pay over $400 a month you better be damn sure I am driving in a Ferrari 355 or Porsche 911(2002 models).
By the way I know your going to ask. I put down $20,500

I feel like the only one "in the middle" in terms of down payment here.
$5800 down ($5000 + a trade-in). 5.4% for 60 mos. $530/mo. Paid $500 below MSRP.
The only extra I purchased was the extended warranty. Considering I thought I'd be using by CU at 5.79%, when Honda offered me 5.4, it only "felt" like the warranty cost me $1.50 a month.
I considered leasing. It would have only saved me $85 a month and I would have had to give the car back.
