Got the car back from SC install today. Like Wesmaster sez, I recommend it for everyone! Hardware is very nice looking, my dealer did a very good job of installing.

Didn't have a chance to drive around much, as it was rush hour around here when I picked it up, but vtec gives you a little "snap back" when it engages (as in snap your head back). Although the additional torque is not much, it is noticeable.

What has been understated previously, IMO, is the cool sound it makes - at idle, there is the low whine from the blower; when you get going the engine/exhaust sound is much deeper (could be more so than normally would be because I have comptech exhaust).

I am going to try to get my car dynoed this weekend; if possible, I will post results.

nvmys2k,

sorry for taking so long to post back, first chance I had all day to check the forum.

I bought the sc and some other mods when I purchased the car. The dealer said that since they are installing the sc, it will not void the warranty. I have seen posts that other dealers have said the same thing, but until someone with a sc makes a claim and it gets honored, I don't think we'll really know (or believe). I think I do have some legal standing, though, 'cause the purchase order for the car lists all the mods.

The SC will void your factory warranty IF the SC causes or contributes to the failure...i.e. engine, clutch, transmission, & differential failures could all be denied based on the increased power level. You'll retain coverage for all items not stressed by your mods.

Whether your dealer wants to provide supplemental warranty coverage is another matter, but I can't see why they would do so, esp. since they didn't engineer the SC system.
