2000 RPM, sometimes a bit lower if the car is going downhill. Just don't expect a lot of grunt down there, and be prepared to do a lot of dancing because you'll be in third by the time you clear the intersection.
That's how I'll drive if I'm being limited by traffic. Regular driving, probably 2.5-3K or so. Having fun? 8K!

3500rpms for 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 3,000rpms for 4-5, 5-6 shifts as minimum. Any less and your lugging the engine unless your going downhill. Shifting at 4,000 rpms accelerates fast enough to keep up with most traffic off the line without having to give it extra throttle (lugging).
