HaHaHa ... Good call! I'd say that about 75% of the time, I have the top down. I'm blessed with good weather here in Orlando. This will be my first summer with the S though, and I'm real anxious to see whether or not I'll be able to handle the oppressively hot weather without some shelter.

Interesting! I would have expected that comment from someone in Florida, not California?

I live on the Texas Gulf Coast near Galveston. I've owned a convertible before and during the heat of the day in the summer time when the temps and humidity conspire against us (I know you understand that, living in Orlando! ), I kept the top up. Maybe I'm just a wimp but I'm here to tell you, on dark maroon vinyl seats, once the perspiration got going (about 5 to 10 minutes!!!), I got a "real" good idea of what a lobster feels like right after it was dunked in the pot!

That's one reason the GPW looks so good to me. Those tan seats have got to be an improvement. At least I've got my fingers crossed!

mine has 355 miles
top has been down 335 of them
that's 94.37%
I expect to get that average up.

I just put my first 1000 miles on my car. 90% top down. I'm sure I will be using the air conditioning in the summer when it's 100+ outside. Sacramento, CA.

48K on the car when I sold it, ~47.5K with the top down, I just did not drive the car on rainy days (there are not a lot of them out here,) and can only think of one time where I got stuck with the car in the rain and I simply drove faster then the rain.
