I wouldn't worry about a few miles on the car. Could be a couple test drives, and dealer prep sometimes adds a few miles if they do it right.

I was petrified about this too. Mine had 6 miles off the truck and 7 when I recieved it. My research showed that anything under 20-30 is ok, and some cars they do test a little in japan on a track (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Ask them if it came with those miles of if they have been doing test drives. Test drives are a little more to worry about. But really, I think you'll be just fine. You'll find that after putting a few hundred miles on the car those 20 it has now won't make that much of a difference. And when you hit VTEC, your worries will all disappear.

Look over the car carefully regardless (PM me with an email if you want my post delivery checklist). I brought a friend for a second pair of eyes too, and it helped.

Mine had 33 miles. Of course, 9 of those were driven by me when I test drove the car.

Ours had 11 miles on it when we did the test Drive 15 miles latter we took it home. In texas we have a state inspection which has the mileage noted on it. Ours shows 10 miles. Our dealer was really cool about the test drive said put 2 miles on it, if you are going to buy it bring it back in a half hour. Even let us use a Civic to teach my woman to drive a stick.

My car had 10 miles on it. It was fresh off the truck. The dealer told me that they usually come to the dealer with 6-7 miles on them, and after prepping the car after delivery for actual sale gets another 2-3 miles on it.
