Megan Headers

There have been two megan dynos. One was with a boost leak, and one was with another boosted car that lost 2 rwhp. It was 20 degrees hotter and lost .7 pounds of boost and only lost 2 hp. I'm sure if we get a real test the header is going to make nice power. The stock design is already good, but Megan made it bigger.
I may want to "exchange" my J's header for a nitrous setup if anyone is interested

I tend to follow the notion that you get what you pay for. Megan is mass produced ebay stuff, and it is highly doubtful that they put much forethought into the development or engineering of their parts.
Personally, the S2K is good as it is near stock, with minimal bolt ons such as intake, exhaust, etc. Cost benefit ratio on NA power mods is very high..and money better spent on suspension and tires.
Sorry I couldn't be more help

I don't want to search for them, they're around. AJR had a J's header and 70mm T1R and got 218 untuned. I can't wait to tune/dyno and show all the "s2k can't make NA gains" people that that notion is completely false. The best parts have only come out in the past year or so. Everyone saying the S can't make good gains are used to seeing people spending money on things like comptech exhaust over the years.

what type of gains would you get with a 1400dollar header anyway? 3? 5hp?
I'm deciding if it's even worth speding over a grand for something that yields 3hp...

I have to agree. I just installed my Comptech header and noticed it weighs significantly less than stock. I haven't had a chance to dyno it but I do love the way it looks and it sounds nice.
