Default Megan Headers

i waas wanting to buy the comptech headers but i found the megan ones for a lot cheaper is there much difference?

you get what you pay for..but i was thinking about maybe 5zigen or Dc Race Headers..those are pretty decent price

Dyno results have proven DC headers lose power from what I've heard here...
Megan looks identical to stock, except the pipes are larger.

He asked if the Megan Headers were any good. I do not believe that there has been any decisive conclusion as to whether or not there is a performance gain over stock.

what type of gains would you get with a 1400dollar header anyway? 3? 5hp?

I'm deciding if it's even worth speding over a grand for something that yields 3hp...

Header gains on this car from what I hear are not much if any. A good header coupled with a matched intake and exhaust can yield maybe 20 hp max???

That's 20rwhp more than you had before. Couple a good header with a good exhaust, flywheel, a set of ITB's and a good tune, and now you're talking serious gains and lightning throttle response.

I have the megan header sitting in my garage, my dyno wouldnt be fair b/c my motor is being rebuilt
