first one to get them on my car straight from Megan Racing... Already put 18k miles on them and still working perfectly. I use to have them on my 240sx for 40+k miles and never once had a problem with them.

was there any modification needed to fit/install the coilovers?? Or was it a straight up bolt on etc.

straight bolt on, coilovers come pre-installed...

1. Un-install old shocks
2. Install new shocks
3. drop car down
4. let it sit for a bit so the coilovers can compress to the height its set on
5. measure how much you want to drop it
6. lift the car up again and height adjust the coilover
7. drop car down and admire your slammed S.

a very short summary on how to do it =D

I have the Megan Racing Track Coilovers. I love them and they are holding up really well. I've put these coilovers through some hell (even jumping a curb once..long story) and they have been holding up. I would definitely recommend them.

For the racing coilovers, its stiffer than stock thats for sure. When you have them on full soft it's still a little bit stiffer than stock. If you are worried about getting too stiff, I would recommend the street coilovers as the shock valving is less aggressive.

I got the megan street, it feels more "bouncy" to me on softer settings, and i've bottomed out a little bit. My commute goes across a brick road and w/ my stock setup I would be rattled to death, but w/ the megans on soft, the brick road is no biggie. On stiff, I feel a nice improvement in cornering, but sometimes I wish I could go just a LITTLE bit stiffer. I'm still fine-tuning the setup, its only been on for 5 days now. The car looks awesome slammed. I'm happy, but IMO, get the track version.
