If it gives you any enouragement at all...i just bought my car about 2 weeks back and it wasnt too bad....

At first...there was a lot of the infamous jerking getting into gear but as you practice, it will get a lot better...I still dont know how to downshift/rev match and other advanced (basic for regular people) skills like that but I can get from point a to point b pretty smoothly.

but just keep practicing..practice does really make perfect

but nobody's perfect.

i like how those cliches contradict each other hehe

but yea, what everyone is saying is true. i also have learned on this car when i got it. my friend also learned when he bought his IS300. i'm jus glad that i'm not the only person to have learned on this car!
