I got my 2001 black/black from Commonwealth.
They used super cheap glue strips for the badge on my car. The right end started lifting off the trunk. When I was waxing my car a couple days ago I was able to slowly peel off the badge and all the glue with very little effort. There wasn't even any residue left behind. Now there's only shiny wax.

Really? Lucky - I used a hair dryer to heat up the double-stick tape behind the Commonwealth logo, and it came off easily but the glue was left behind on the paint. It took me another 15 mins with a soft cloth to take the glue off, so consider yourself lucky. The good news is that there's no sign the badge was ever there and I didn't damage the paint in the process.
How'd you guys survive your break in period? It's driving me nuts. I bought this car for it's 9K RPM redline but I can't come even close until the engine wears in. Argh. Porsche has the right idea with bench running their engines for 1000 miles before they're even put in the car.

s4Mike: Here's the url for the FAQ on the carpet cut:

It's just a reference that it's something to check for on delivery. Whether the dealer will do anything about or not is a different question. By the way I have ordered the deluxe one piece floor mats from MUZ to cover the entire area including the cross piece. This should take care of the cut carpet in view regardless.
