Thanks, Tritium
Gosh... this is so hard! I made a promise to myself not to do any mods to the car for at least a year... or at least until I've finished paying it off. But with deals like this, Rick, it's very difficult.

There are two other links in that thread to give you even more background. Also, search for a thread authored by ItalianBuckwheat and 4.44. He gives a very dramatic comparison from a "drag race" perspective.
In case you don't find it, in reference to the fuel mileage:
In city driving, you will not notice any significant difference in mpg because you will usually be in one higher gear than before (unless you just love the low end grunt and drive "spirited" all the time). On the highway, with 4.44's, as long as you drive as you did before (ie, 6th gear), you should not get much (if any) decrease in fuel economy. However, if you elect to go 4.77's (which you should NOT if you drive a lot of highways), your fuel economy will suffer somewhat.
And before you ask, yes your speedometer (and odometer) will be incorrect with the new gears. You will need to get the "Yellow Box" to compensate for the error.

Rick, who will intall them for 400? Curry's quoted me like 600 any other recommendations? I'll drive to Nova or Maryland if you recommend them? Hell, I am driving to Ohio for the oilbolts and 02 ECU. Any recs, would be appreciated b/c I have wanted these for a while and have the money for them, just no one that I trust to install for a decent price.
