Default Maintenance required light...help?

I have about 6000 miles on my S and I was driving today when the maint req'd light started blinking. It blinked for about 10 seconds and then again later in the day when I started my car. I haven't seen it since but was just a little worried. I had my oil change already and the only mod is a PRM intake (I already doubled checked the hoses and everything). Should I take it in to honda and have them take a look or should I be ok as long as the light doesn't keep going off? Thanks

Rich

The scheduled maintenance light will start blinking when the mileage gets close to the recommended service intervals as programmed into the ECU at the factory.

In order to reset it, follow these instructions:

1. Put key in ignition
2. Push trip reset button, continue to hold button for 10 seconds
3. Turn key to next position
4. Hold button for approximately 10 seconds or until light stays off.

The secret is holding the reset button and turning the key to the next position. It does not specify that in the manual.

Or the owner's manual. I believe it tells of what that light means and why it does what it does.

I've tried but those picket fences make for only short sits.
