Maintenance Required Light

It can be reset at anytime once it begins to come on. They come on at 6k only occasionally then gets more frequent the closer you get to 7.5k then it stays on until you or your mechanic resets it. To reset it turn your ignition key to the first position, next hold down your trip indicator reset button and keep holding down while you turn the ignition key to the next position. Keep the reset button depressed for a few more seconds. Done, your all set until 15k.

I had a weird one happen the other night.... Around 5960 miles or so, my MR light began flashing while I was driving down the highway, as if I had just turned the ignition switch on. I had been driving for the last 20 minutes at a steady speed. Why would it have done that?

I will reset the thing once it gets closer to 7500 miles.
