'maintenance required' indicator reset?

Default 'maintenance required' indicator reset?

My maintenance indicator thingi came on . I checked the owners manual , but their writup on how to reset this thing is not working for me . How do you reset ?

Read the owners manual it will tell you in there...or if you are too lazy then you can hold the trip button down, then put the key in and turn it to the on position while still holding the trip button for about 15 seconds. That should make it go away.

1) key in the ignition (do not do anything besides inserting it).
2) hold down the trip button
3) continue to hold down the trip button, and turn the key all of the way
4) hold the button until the maintenance light has stopped flashing

wow.. i needed to do that to my car for like 10K already.. been too lazy to look it up.
