maintenance required
i got a maintenance required light on my o4 s2k at about 16000 miles. i called in and they said i need to get a intermediate or major check up and the intermediate is gonna cost 130 bucks. is it really necessary or is it little stuff like oil change and stuff that i can do on my own? plus if it is worth it, can someone tell me everything that i get done for that price, and do i have to throw in more money for like oil change, transmission etc or is it all included? thanks

The service is pretty basic stuff that can be done on your own (details are in the manual and the Honda dealer has an itemized list too). You can turn off the Maintenance Required light yourself. There's a FAQ on this site that describes how, you just need to dig around for it.
