Ok, so my maint req'd light came on around 46,500. I have an 03. it blinked for a few weeks before hand but now is on all the time. I tried to reset it like the manual says, but it goes off for a second and pops back on. so whats the deal?? Shes running great. plus I fig if something is really wrong the engine light would be on too?? please help thanks

You are resetting it incorrectly more than likely.

^good reminder, the light is coming on because if you had changed your oil every other time the light came on, itd be time again to change it, based on how many miles you've driven since the light was last reset.

It has nothing to do with whether you've changed your oil or not, it's a reminder light, it comes on after a set mileage interval no matter if you change the oil ever 10 miles, or if you haven't changed it in 100k.

You still have to manually reset the indicator. At least on my AP2.

I reset mine last night. It began flashing a few times while I was driving, so when I got home, I reset it. Easy as pie.
