Maint. Light blinking

Default Maint. Light blinking
How do i get the maint light to stop blinking everytime i start the car? take it to the dealer?
and yes i know its a dumb question

hold the two trip buttons on the right side of the gauge bezel, turn on car, hold until maint. light stops blinking. next time you start it up shouldb be gone

the light comes on every 7500 miles or so to remind you to get an oil change or perform other regular maintainence. if you don't clear it, eventually it will stay on solid.
