Default Main Requ- Light question

Main Req Light flashes like 3-4 times each time I turn the car on then turns off and doesn't turn on again until I shut off the car and restart it. This started happening after I drove it pretty hard couple nights ago.

What could be wrong? I recently got my oil changed.

Thanks for all the help.

They forgot to reset the light when you brought the car in.

If they forget again at the next service interval the light will stay on.

The manual teaches you how to reset it.

mine was doing the same thing, just a friendly notice that maintence is coming up. Although it is all to do with mileage not the fact that your car is in need of maintence. Mine was doing the same thing as you stated and then came on solid one day on the freeway. Pulled over and called hondas2001 and he told me how to reset it. I turned the car completely off, held down the right 2 buttons on the cluster (the ones that change the trip, and mph/km) at the same time then turned the key to on until the maintence light went off. Haven't seen it since. Has nothing to do with you running the car hard.
