I just think that metal shavings are afraid to show up in your car.

I dont have magnetic plugs yet, but when I changed my oil I saw little green crawly things squirming around on the drain plug... they had feet and big red eyes.... it was scary! I wonder if they infiltrated into my car under the seats!
I am now too fearful driving my car ... what should I do? Is there an exorcist on this site??

You need the "Electo-Plasmic Orgamistizer" drain plugs. It is a rarely known part made available by "Moogen". They are special request items and not in their catalogue. The GhostBusters use these in their wagon.

i see maybe 3-4 small shavings on my bolts when I change... but then again, I dont think I change as often as I should... I think xviper here changes so often they dont get a chance to wear anything down!

Add the differential to cdlelena's list. I've got all 3 and there is always a fine metallic powder on the magnets.

Some high wear parts like cams, lifters, etc. are steel. What I see every time is too small for me to easily photograph, but clearly there is a small amount of metal particles. I assume it is normal.
