Default M3 Vs S2000

Ok, I know they are two different cars, but this is an intresting poll, because I want to learn which is the best for you and why. I made a search before posting, but that's impossible because of the "m3" word, which is only 2 characters long.
Of course the BMW is very luxury, expensive, and huge, so I don't want to focus on these factors. I wanna know which do you think is the best for racing driving, and why.
I 've seen a Best Motoring video, where the S2000 is faster than the BMW. But in the end the S2k finishes behind the M3, because the driver had a bad time douring the 1st corner. But overall the S2k was faster.
Wantone please vote! You have both of them, so you could help me. I will vote for S2k...

Thanks

Haha good point -- although at this point they seem to be running similar times -- and with one notable exception dynoing with the same horsepower.

I like a covertible so it would have to be between an S2000 and an M3 convertible which makes it a major price differential like $55k to $32k.

Are you sure the M3 is better for track racing? I wanna see some kind of proof. Please tell me how much does eack M3 model cost. Because if the price diffrence is huge, then we will talk about: M3 Vs Amuse S2000 and you know who's faster. Don't you?

Please reply
Thanks for the answers

if cost is a factor, take the price diff between the two cars and put that amount into performance mods into the s2k and it's easy to say which will get you your better lap time

taking cars in stock form, i'd take the m3 over the s2k because the m3's better power to weight is better, which makes up for the handling difference.

of course, we assume driver is the same and performance would vary largely depending on how twisty the track is

Define better. It is a subjective term.

I wanna see some kind of proof.
Then I suggest you do some research.

Please tell me how much does eack M3 model cost. Because if the price diffrence is huge, then we will talk about : M3 Vs Amuse S2000 and you know who's faster. Don't you?
They guy with the 6 thousand dollar mustang? The my car could be faster than yours for the same money in mods argument is silly and pointless.

OK, please explain me why the S2000 is quicker in Tsukuba than the M3.
Also explain me why the amuse S2k (250hp 1150kg) is almost a lap faster than the M3's (A36 & A46) on a 10 lap race..

Thanks again for your input.
