Lowering springs on stock struts?

i did espiler's (sp) on my 08 and i love them over the tein coilovers i had.... been fine since and drop is perfect

I put these on 2 weeks after picking the car up and love them.

No need to spend 1k+ on coilovers for a street car

its gonna be a lil more than a street car but i do want it mainly for the street. but i also wanna learn to drive it well before i go and actually spend some real money on a set of fully adjustable coilovers. but my question was really is that the only difference between the ground control and the prokit is that the ground control coilover springs are adjustable springs and you can get them in different spring rates for either lowering or racing?
