I use bricks but four 2x4 cut at 45 degree angles is a great idea.

I poured cement over my driveway end... cost $20, it clears my lip and fits a jack under

Im curious as to how this looks....Pictures?

On my celica(lowered 1.5") my dad only had these huge ramps, tried going up regular once and almost broke my front bumper, just used a board to act as a "step up" and worked perfect.

If you want to be fancy, go to Home Depot, pick up a 2"x10"x12', and have the lumber guy cut it for you into four 2' pieces and four 1' pieces. Nail them together, put some rubber non-stick on the bottoms, and viola, you have a four wheel 4" ramps system for about $15. If you want to really get fancy, cut the ramps at 45 degrees.

I used to use 2x4s, but now I just use the Honda Jack to lift up one corner so I can get my real jack under there. I find it to be easier because I don't want to leave 2x4s anywhere near my driveway

Wood FTW. Screw a bump stop (2x2) piece of wood on the top board so you can pull forward all the way and have a stop before you go off the end of the board.
