loud pinging or tinging noise from the cat. converter

i hear this loud pinging or tinging noice from the cat converter after turning it off is this normal the car only has 500 miles

I have the same issue but not sure if it's really a problem or not. Happens more in colder weather so it could be metal expanding/contracting.

normal, when the cat gets hot, it expands. when it gets cold, it contracts. these changes to any metal will cause noises.

Completely normal, get a test pipe and you will not have these noises anymore.
