Loud noise coming from rear of car?

A few days ago I started to hear a loud metallic noise coming from the rear of my S. It only seems to happen when I hit a sharp jarring bump. Any ideas on what it might be?

The suspension is stock, and I will check the spare tire as soon as I leave work. Thanks!
