I think its great everytime I see one of these F--- up cars I just think thats one fewer stock car on the road and mine is now even more rare...I would say this is especially so for those with early production cars.

I was young once and thought about a body kit for my Z...I'm so glad I came to my sences...Oh wait I was just to poor to afford the kit.

Enhance the car don't change the car, if it doesn't look like it may have come from the factory its not going on the car.

I'd be willing to put a wing like that on my S if it had operational control surfaces and allowed the car fly. Short of that, I prefer the stock appearance.
looks like a bike rack

HEY! i'm a kid looking for an s2000. but that doesn't mean i'm gonna rice it out. i kept those days for my 95 civic dx. so all the ricing is out of me.

in case anyone cares, here's my potential mod list:
- comptech supercharger
- amuse front lip
- 18" volk racing le37t's

Half the cars on this forum are riced out. Who gives a crap. Problem is, the real car guys associate the car with rice, instead of what it really is, a pure sports car.

You know....what's most disturbing about the beginning post of this thread is the total sound of perceived "Eliteness"

As if the people that can now afford S2000 are bringing down your class or something. It's just like the snobs in the neighborhoods that don't like it when certain people move in. "There goes the neighborhood"

I've seen tasteless Lambo's, tasteless Porsches, and every other exotic even a McLaren F1 with hideous custom interior. Price tag matters not. And they were only tasteless because that's what I thought. Obviously, someone liked it.

The most important thing to remember at the end of the day, is that your opinion, my opinion and everyone else's opinion, is just that, an opinion. Not a fact. There is no definition for tasteless, or one for ricer, tuner or any other category of cars. We all think differently of each car.

What if your best friend got an S2000 and set it up in a way that you found revolting. Would you stop being his friend because he scarred the image of S2000 owners. You never met the guy you saw with the ugly wing so you know nothing about him. He could be a cool guy and you would share what we all share.......the love for cars.
