lost control last night
#111
I spun out last night getting on the 10 at Atlantic at 2:30 am. For those of you who know the onramp in question, it's an incredibly tight turn which I took too fast. I began fishtailing, overcompensated in the classic lame driver way, and rotated 200 degrees, coming to a stop facing oncoming traffic. Fortunately the traffic was light and drivers were paying attention and were able to go around me while I restarted the car. Also fortunately, there was no damage or injury.
From here on out I vow to be much more cautious. The sick part is I was rocketing through Ortega Highway between San Juan Capistrano and Lake Elsinore just the day before. If I'd spun out there I would have probably died, since the S doesn't protect you against hundred foot falls...
