Default Looks like metal flake in the clutch master cylinder resivoir

I was looking at the clutch master cylinder today and noticed that is really dark and has what appears to be metal flakes in it. This does not seem normal at any mileage especially at 15,000. I have not been impressed with the clutch for some time and especially the last 7-8000 miles. It seems to be weak, engage really late and just all around not smooth. The condition of the clutch fluid and the apperance of metal flakes in the fluid would seem to suggest that there is a problem in the cluth hydraulic system. Does this sound like problems others have had????

Hi! My clutch fluid looked the same and the master cylinder started to leak into the driver compartment. I changed the cylinder myself today. You might want to check out the clutch push rod and see if there is any wetness in the driver side. If so, take it to the dealer and tell them.
