Looking to start my car without pushing the clutch
Just wondering if anybody knows how to do this?
Remember when old cars didnt' need to have the clutch pressed in to start them?
just would be nice to lean in and start and not have to stab the clutch...

Darwin award candidate?
Hmmm....didn't have them in the old days....have them now...didn't have them in the old days....have them now. Yeah, I can't figure it out either.
Unless maybe someone did something silly like reached into their car and started it and ran over their little sister or something?

since I leave the top down in the garage most of the time, in the morning it'd be nice to reach in turn the key and hit the button, go back to making breakfast etc....
Subtle thing... but then again there are dozens of people who disable the speed sensor in their convertible top... which is probably an even worse idea...

I haven't taken a look, but there is probably a switch connected to the clutch pedal, so depending if its a normal open or close switch, either complete the circuit or open it up. But like I said, I haven't check, just guessing.

Hold on a sec. In our cars we can start the S2000 (actually all manual cars) without pushing the clutch! In the USA you must press the clutch to do so? Its sounds like a stupid question but from what I read ^ there is a "safety pushing the clutch to start the car"?
