Yup, they weigh a ton. I believe the figures I found a while back put them at 22-24lbs.

What wing is that on the silver S2000 in the first picture? Looks kind of like the Veilside, but I don't know...

Alright other than just plain more weight for the engine to move (as if my fat butts not enough!!), what is wrong with a heavier wheel?

Lot more stress on the suspension, since it has to control wheels that are (significantly) heavier than stock.
