I don't think this is a Want to Buy a Hardtop thread - he is just asking where to buy. I added "Buying Help" to his title to maybe stop the confusion.

There are many different places to pick up the 3 different hardtops available for the S2000. If you want to stick with board sponsors:

OEM Hardtop: www.hardtopguy.com
Seibon Carbon Fiber Replica of the Mugen top: www.evolutionautosports.com

And then there is Mugen which comes in a non-painted style and a Carbon Fiber style. Unfortunately there really isn't a sponsor/vendor on S2Ki that carries them straight from Mugen. You would have to talk to King Motorsports for that.

If you want to know of a good place to have your prospective hardtop painted, then I suggest checking with your local community.

www.hardtopguy.com

I called yesterday about buying a GPW hardtop and Jeff said they are expecting another shipment of hardtops in February-March.

Replace that "motor" with "auto". I fixed it in my original post.

i have a question, is there a difference in the years for the hardtops? it seems strange that 02-05s only pay 2500 on hardtopguy. while the rest of us early model owners pay around 3000?

can a 2000 model use a 2002 model hardtop?

I'm pretty sure the reason why the price for the 00-01 is higher is because the 00-01's required extra hardware to install the rear defroster. The 02-05s don't need it because we already have a glass rear window.
