Looking to buy another S2000
I had a 2001 S2000 a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I am now looking to get another, but I am looking at an 03' with 75,000 miles this time. I never really did any research on these cars, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they have any major engine defects or mechanical defects to look out for, or that might scare me away. I plan on daily driving it.
Here are some examples of possible weaknesses I am hoping to avoid:
1. weak clutch or rear end?
2. weak engine after 100,000 miles?
3. fire hazards? electrical issues?
I really dont care about small things such as a weak sound system or load noises, I am just trying to avoid dropping a ton of money into the car after driving is a few thousand miles.
You cant beat the fact that S2000's are cheaper than civic's used...
thanks
