Thumbs up Looking for an aftermarket fuel rail

I'd like to get an aftermarket fuel rail. I plan on getting an AEM FPR, and would like to get their fuel rail as well, but apparently they do not make one for the S2000. Does anybody know of any alternatives? Thanks!

I've seen the BDL one used often. AEM makes nice ones but why not for the S??

I called AEM and asked them why they didn't make one for the S and they didn't have a good answer. They just don't.

You have another issue. The S2000 (2000-2005) all have a fuel rail with a fuel return. The 2006 is a returnless fuel rail. So whatever is out there now will not work for your car. Sorry.

I know about that issue. However, within the next few months or so I will be converting to a return fuel system, which will require an aftermarket fuel rail, aftermarket FPR, and a few other items.

Can someone elaborate on fuel return? Why is it done and why was it removed in 06? Why would you want to put it back?

FPR and return line weren't removed. They were relocated to inside the fuel tank next to the pump.

Right...at which time the system was converted from a return fuel system to a returnless fuel system. I am not a mechanic, and cannot state the specific ramifications, but in a nut shell we are SCREWED until the system is converted to a return fuel system. Hondata has done some sort of testing and had found that the returnless fuel system can only support ~8 psi of boost.
