look at what honda did to my s2000!!
GRRRRRRRRR i was read ended the other day by this asshole in an old merc benz, he broke a rear light and he damaged my rear bumper
i fixed it with my insurace , and they agreed to replace the whole bumper, and ofcourse my rear light......
well they did.....BUT!!!
yes you guessed it........they replaced my rear light with an older 2000-2001 model one , without the crome rings!!!
another one........
and yes you guessed it ........they fixed my rear fog lamp , but those assholes didnt conect it to the fuse i think!! (its not working anymore!)
im still waiting for the arrival of a new rear lamp.....
can anyone tell me if it looks bad ? or am i being stupid for worrying about the looks of my car?

If it was my car - I would kick up hell.
Good luck

I'm afraid I don't understand. Did they tell you up front that the correct light is on backorder and install the old model light until the new one comes in or did they try to slip it by hoping you wouldn't notice?
If they told you before giving the car back then that's service we can't get in the U.S. We would have had to just wait until the part came in.
Surely they can run down the reason the light doesn't work (either wiring/fuse/bulb problem for sure).
The repair job looks great. The pic was taken in the shade but the paint match looks first rate.
Stay on them until they make it right - be firm but understanding.
