There is nothing made that some else cannot make a little cheaper and a little worse.

The replicas can be made to fit gapless. the small gaps you have now are nothing reallly. The authentic is even worse! you can get it to fit, but if you don't, it's horrible, b/c there is very little give to the real amuse since it's fiberglass.

Remounting the lip is not hard, so if oyu want to give it another try, i say do it. I've had to redo mine so many times. I folded it under the car on a dead animal once and horrible inclines ARG (TX for you) and so mine is a little bent out of shape, but it holds pretty darn close to the shape of the front bumper.

So its not the fact that it's a replica...b/c the authentic is jsut the same if not worse. You have to mount it PERFECT i think. ??

i actually loosened the screws.. it got a lot better... but need to find a longer screw and big washers... where could u get some big washers?

since they were pretty big gaps, i put rubber washers that i think were made for a sink. I picked them up from the plumbing section at my local home depot. any how they worked, yes i have a gap on the inside of my wheel well, but its a lot better than on the front of the bumper. good luck

I used to have the authentic Amuse lip. No gap. I made a mistake of replacing it with the poly urethane. The gaps on the sides are identical to yours. I had to use silicon to fill the gap so it doesn't look as bad.

Here are the pics I have of one of the lips we did. One just has to take the time to test fit first and find the right height.
