If it is a poly one, get a heat gun and heat it up just a bit, and that will take out most of the gap. Don't get it too hot, just warm enough to do the job. I had this same prob. with mine.

Had the same problem. Lowered the lip, put in some washers between the screws in the wheel well, fixed it.

I used clear silicone in my gap! It's a quick , cheap fix that blends right in.
