Longevity of carbon fiber parts?

303 may help but wax is not good on a gel coat, swome type of UV protectant can help, but fading is going to happen the question is when.

The material in most of the US CF (seibon, VIS, and etc.) just seems to fade faster where as the JDM ones seem to hold up longer. There has to be some kind of difference, but I dont know what it is .

I wonder if you can put a clear bra type material on there. lol or some of that blue tape, haha oh well, can always paint it black

Exactly. That's why GM add those UV protecting additives to the clearcoat to prevent the CF from turning yellow.
