Is list price still a good deal?
My dealer has a car in stock and is "willing" to sell it to me at MSRP. Is that still a good deal or are some of you paying below sticker. Should I shut up and buy or try to bargain with a risk of losing the car?

There are still ads in the Chicago Tribune below MSRP. Grand Honda had a bunch advertised for $30,500 last week, and Honda of Lisle alsways says in their ads they are willing to match other advertised prices, so there should be plenty of room to maneuver.
I ran into someone who bought a 2002 model three weeks ago for $29,500 here in Chicago. Granted, he had a trade-in and financed the rest, so we don't know if the deal was as good as it sounds, but still...
Just my $0.02

sure. go and bargain. You're not gonna risk losing the car. The worst they'll say is no. Talk about the price first, and make sure that the car you'll get has absolutely zero miles on it. Test drivers and dealers get a little leadfooted when in that car...

I'd be happy to pay MSRP and get a car off the showroom! I've had a deposit down since April 6. The cars (S2Ks, other colors) that have come in to the dealer are gone within a week of arrival, if not already belonging to some one else. I've even searched the surrounding states (CO, AZ, TX) and can't find a Suzuka Blue at any dealer that isn't "inbound" (like mine) or already sold. Other colors may be more plentiful, so if you can find "your" S car, save yourself the hassle, and "bond" with the local dealer--I wish local around here was only 25 miles! I'm buying 100 miles away--in the wild wild west.
