I've lusted after a hard top for ages but yeah it's a catch 22. I love having the top down. A pretty good example is how I tend to stop using the soft-top cover because even that's a hassle for me. I love the look of the hard top but having two people to always remove it, plus the cost of it, means I'll probably never own one...unless someone wants to gift me one

I enjoy having the versatility of having both the hard top and convertible top. I'm ready for any weather or situation.

I think a surrey top would be a cool option. Basically a hardtop with a targa roof. Here is what one looks like on an old British roadster:

Really wanted to get a hardtop but can't justify 3+ grand when I drive with the top down too often.
Same here, I absolutly love the look of the hardtop, but I am also a top always down guy.

Only time i would have the hardtop on is during early spring and late fall, dont drive it in the winter. so its definitly a waste of $$ for me.

If i lived in warmer climate where i could drive it yearround I would get one and leave it on in the winter months.

id get one just because the car might be out in the winter a lil..not in snow but just out in the cold sometimes and obviously thats not good for the softtop..like really cold frost in the morn..etc
plus it looks great and it doesnts seem hard to take off..id probably remove the softop too
