I love top down all the time (in ANY weather), but my gf complains too much about:
Too windy
Too noisy
Too hot
Too cold
Too many people looking
Etc etc....

I didn't like the way the car looked with the top up all the time, so I took the plunge and got a hardtop. I love the way it looks, and I'm happy I purchased it. Once it's set up correctly, you can remove it in less than 2 minutes (with 2 people). You just need somewhere to put it (my garage is full right now).

Really wanted to get a hardtop but can't justify 3+ grand when I drive with the top down too often.

yea hardtops are nice lol i think it adds styling to the car. the only problem i feel is that with the extra weight the car will be slower since the softop with the frame and the motor take up unnecessary space and weight. but hey it looks good and if you ever want to take it off for a sunny day then its great. + if it rains you have the softtop to back you up :-)

Hardtop FTW at all times...

BUT! Top down every once in a while in great weather, at night, in good parts of town, when the car is clean, etc etc etc....is good too

But really, not a big deal to take it off with help from another IMO

I'm with you.

I currently deal with it by living in an area where top-down driving is a year-round opportunity and keeping my car garaged.

Depending on where I move next, I may deal with it by using a HT seasonally or just garaging the S during the winter months.
