Lights too bright?
I was goin down a road and it was kind of getting dark so we turned the lights on.This guy honked at us and flashed his brights at us.....blinding......So when we got home we checked them out and they are pretty bright without the brights on......Do you guys think the lights are too bright?

This is a common complaint with HID lights like the S2000 has. When the lights are on low beam, you will notice a very defined line where the light from the headlights stops/starts. Park facing a wall and you will notice this line. Coming over a hill and in certain other situations, oncoming traffic is below this line which leaves them in the very bright section. They think you have you brights on when you don't.
You can adjust the headlights a little but it's a nuisance you will mostly just have to deal with.

This was a concern of mine when I bought the car, since the HID lights are bright, but mine seem to be adjusted rather low IMHO. If I follow a car at a reasonable distance (several car lenghts), the cutoff (top of the beam) is lower than the car's back window.
I saw an S2000 the other day that had the brightest lights of any car that I can recall seeing. When it got closer, I realized that it had cleared headlight housings and by the way that the lights were aimed, they were probably the wrong housings (JDM or Euro). The lights were really aimed high.
Check the alignment if it seems that a lot of oncoming cars are flashing their lights at you.
Good luck,
Bob
