Very well said!

Indeed, everyone needs a place to live, but when average home prices are going up almost 20% faster than average salaries, affordability becomes a huge issue. Thus the end result being a decline in prices...

If you are signing a deal worth $100k a year why the are you worried whether you lease or buy? So you lose a little on depreciation, but youll pay more in interest - hey...you can afford to lose it remember!

I say....stop showing off to people who dont give a crap what you do or what you earn - a listen to what you are being told - its all good advice

thats why im asking for the advise. and its not a "deal" i consider it a deal but its more like a contract of promising to stay with the company throughout my the last year of school and then take over one of their newly open branches. the offer stands at 80-100k to start in what they consider "entry" my offer stands at the upper range of that. and anyways it went good today and it looks like im staying with them.... in no means is this a way to show off to others i simply stated my position and what im looking help for on. just cause i have an offer doesnt mean im making it now, im only making 34k a year now. I already have an S, im not looking into "can i afford one" situation , i directed my questions towards those that have leased and found benefits or faults in leasing, i often read cases where people lease and buy a house and use the mortage to cover...im not here to defend anything or credit anything, if you believe im making this up or am making pointless post.. well thats your opinion. thanks for the useful information from those that have posted.
